The research behind it
Developed over two decades by Dr Todd Hall (Professor of Psychology, Biola University; Faculty Affiliate, Harvard Human Flourishing Program), this is the only major spiritual assessment explicitly grounded in attachment theory. All 33 scales demonstrate excellent reliability (Cronbach's alpha .75 to .94, mean .87), validity is established through factor analysis, convergent correlations, and known-groups discrimination between spiritual exemplars and non-exemplars, and the instrument has been completed by over 55,000 people and used in numerous peer-reviewed studies. It sits on the same Relational Spirituality framework that shapes all our work at Grow for Good.
